University of Toronto Rotman Commerce

The University of Toronto Rotman Commerce has been teaching commerce since 1901, when the Faculty of Arts began offering a diploma program in commerce.

In 1909, the university, however, launched a Bachelor of Arts program in Commerce and Finance, which in 1920 became the Bachelor of Commerce.

In 1997, the faculty became the Joseph L. Rotman School of Management in recognition of its principal benefactor.
